KASEA is proud to recognize Catrina McGurk as the General Education Administrator of the Year for 2023. Catrina is principal at Ft. Larned Elementary School. She was nominated by KASEA member Cris Seidel who recognized her for her commitment to educating students with exceptionalities in their Least Restrictive Environment, and for implementing a Multi-Tiered System of Support in her building. KASEA president Lena Kisner presented Catrina with the award during the United School Administrator Conference in June.
